Become an Ambassador
help change the way your school talks about periods
Periodwise is a period health and education platform built for people who are tired of being handed a leaflet and left to figure out the rest on their own. We make the clear, warm, judgment-free information we wish we'd had growing up — and now we're building a team of ambassadors to help bring it to schools everywhere.
An ambassador is simply someone who cares about this and wants to spread the word in their own way. There's no single job description. Some of you will run events, some will design merch, some will campaign for free period products at school, and some will just talk about us online. You choose what fits you, and we build it together. Join now and you help shape what Periodwise becomes — with the title, perks, and credit that come with being first.
Why be a Periodwise ambassador
Make a real difference
Periods are still treated as something to hide, and a lot of people your age get their information from rumours and group chats. You become the person friends and classmates trust for real answers — and you see that impact up close.
Get everything first
Test new features, quizzes, and articles before anyone else and tell us what you think. When your feedback changes something on the site, we'll tell you. You're not promoting a product from the outside — you're helping build it.
Have a real voice
We want to know what people at your school are genuinely confused about, embarrassed by, or asking. That's some of the most useful information we can get, and it shapes what we make next.
Earn merch you design
The best ideas from our creative projects get produced, and active ambassadors can earn Periodwise pieces along the way. There are few better feelings than seeing someone wear something you helped design.
Join a global crew
Get access to a private community of ambassadors from schools all over the world — a place to swap ideas, share what's working, cheer each other on, and meet people who care about the same things you do.
Build something for your future
Being a founding ambassador is something real for your CV and university applications. You get a title and a certificate, and standout ambassadors can earn a personal letter of recommendation. Universities and employers notice initiative — and this is initiative.
And above all, have fun with it. This is meant to be enjoyable, not another obligation. You do as much or as little as you like, pick the things that actually interest you, and do them alongside people who get it.
How it works
Everything below is a list of ideas, not a checklist — a starting point to spark your own. None of it happens on its own: you bring the idea and the energy, and we plan and build it together. Run with one of these, mix a few, or pitch something completely your own. There is no pressure to do any particular one, and nothing here is something you'd organise alone. If you have an idea we haven't listed, bring it to us — we'd honestly love to hear it.
Some ideas to get you started
Events & gatherings›
Periodwise cupcake day
Set up a table at lunch with cupcakes, free stickers, and a QR code to the site. People come for the cake and leave knowing about Periodwise.
A stall during health or wellbeing week
Set up a friendly Periodwise stand as part of an event your school already runs.
In your school›
Speak at an assembly
Take a short slot in front of your year or your whole school to talk about why period education matters, and point people to a resource that genuinely helps. It's one of the biggest things you can do — and we'll help you write and practise it.
Stock-the-bathroom campaign
Rally your classmates and put a proposal to your school for free period products in the bathrooms. This is a real piece of advocacy, and we'll help you build the case and the materials.
Collaborate with your health teacher
Offer Periodwise as a resource for the sex-ed or health curriculum, or co-run a lesson together. Teachers are often looking for exactly this kind of material.
Pitch the school nurse
Get Periodwise added to the nurse's recommended resources or noticeboard.
Club partnership
Team up with an existing club — a feminist society, health club, or student council — to run something together rather than starting from scratch.
Online & content›
Periodwise takeover
Take over our Instagram or stories for a day to show what you're up to — your campaign, your cupcake day, or simply walking people through your day. It gives you a real spotlight and lets the whole community see your work.
Quiz challenge
Get your followers to take the Period Personality Quiz, share their type, and compare results with each other.
Behind-the-scenes content
Document one of your projects from start to finish and let people follow along.
Creative & design›
Design our merch
Create a sticker, tote, or hoodie design. Winning designs get produced, and you get the credit and a free one of your own.
Name what comes next
Help name a new quiz type, feature, or article series. Small effort, real ownership.
Community & peer support›
Be the Periodwise person at your school
Share posts, drop the link, and be the friendly face people come to with their questions.
